Minted Challege

I just wanted to give out a quick thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for me in the design challenge! I didn't win, but I did have a good average score. Thanks to all of you I was actually proud of my work. I really appreciate all of the kind words and support!

If you're curious, you can check out the winner here. (It totally deserved it, it was my favorite.)

Next challenge — holiday card!

Vote for me!

So... I went out of my comfort zone a little and decided to enter a design challenge through minted.com.

The challege: Design a save-the-date card for one of three couples incorporating a photo of the pair.

How you can help: Go to www.minted.com/vote and vote for my design! It's on page 5, and it's called "Pair in Phillips Tree." And please leave a comment and let me know what you think! BE HONEST — I'd love constructive criticism! Please pardon the fuzziness of my design, due to procrastination my final upload wasn't as professional as it should be. Hopefully you can see past that.

Prize: 1st place - $1000, 2nd - $500, etc. and they will sell your design on their website!

Voting will be open until approximately Thursday, May 15 and they will announce the winners shortly thereafter.

There are some other REALLY awesome designs. Which only makes me even more awkward to beg for your vote. IF by some insane chance I were to place (and that would only be due to the crazy support of those few of you who read my blogs) I hope to buy Photoshop for The Fine Print (to ensure non-fuzzy future entries to such contests) and then I want to donate half to a charitable cause. No particular organization in mind - but I am open to suggestions.

I'll keep you posted — and thanks in advance for your support!
